Caring for an elderly family member can seem like a daunting and overwhelming task. While you feel personally responsible for the daily care of your family member, there comes a point where you can no longer provide them with what they need. You may feel like this is a failure on your part, but this is not the case. You cannot be reasonably expected to provide 24-hour care and supervision. After all, you have work, family, and friends of your own to attend to.
